Rockstar Games has announced an exciting new update for GTA Online, scheduled for release on December 10, 2024. This winter update brings fresh content, including a new criminal enterprise, additional vehicles, gameplay updates, and exclusive rewards.
Key Features of the Update
- New Criminal Operation: Players will team up with Pavel and a former FIB officer to run a covert business, launching strategic robberies from a hidden factory. Missions can be accessed via an in-game app or a computer in the factory
- Vehicle Additions and Upgrades: New vehicles, including a reimagined Banshee based on the SRT Viper GTS, will be introduced. Additionally, upgrades for the Benefactor Terrorbyte, such as a Collectible Scanner, will aid in treasure hunting
- Gameplay Enhancements: The update will streamline armor resupplies during missions and enhance features in the Vinewood Car Club. GTA+ members will gain exclusive perks like access to Hao’s Special Works
- Community Rewards: As part of a Heist Month challenge, players who collectively earn GTA$20 trillion in heist finales by December 4 will unlock special rewards, including a new varsity jacket, the N.O.O.S.E outfit, and a mystery vehicle
- PC Enhancements Delayed: While Rockstar confirmed that the PC version would eventually receive PS5-exclusive features, this content is delayed until early 2025, likely arriving by March or April
