Bokeh Game Studio has released a free demo of their action-horror game, Slitterhead, now available across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Players can experience the game’s first chapter, complete with a tutorial, and any progress made in the demo will carry over to the full version upon purchase.
Set in the densely packed streets of Kowlong, Slitterhead casts players as “Hyoki,” an entity without memory or physical form, driven to eradicate monstrous beings known as “Slitterheads” that disguise themselves as humans. The game combines exploration, alliances with humans called “Rarities,” and combat utilizing blood-based powers.
In conjunction with the demo release, Slitterhead is currently available at a 30% discount on PC platforms for a limited time, reducing the price from $49.99 to $34.99.
Since its release on November 8, 2024, Slitterhead has received mixed reviews, with critics praising its inventive mechanics but noting areas for improvement.
